Meet the Founder

Welcome to JumpToTech DevOps School! My name is Aisalkyn Aidarova — founder of JumpToTech, Senior DevOps Engineer, researcher, and PhD candidate.

I earned my Associate Degree in Computer Science from Wilbur Wright College and completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).

Through continuous learning and real-world experience, I transitioned into DevOps and Cloud Engineering, working with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, monitoring, automation, and cloud infrastructure technologies.

JumpToTech was created to help students gain practical, job-ready skills using real projects, real tools, and production-style environments that prepare them for successful technology careers.

Whether you are changing careers, starting from zero, or advancing your current IT skills, our mission is to help you confidently build a successful future in technology.

Kubernetes

Just finished the Kubernetes RBAC lab — it's the clearest explanation of service accounts and roles I've ever seen. The hands-on approach makes it stick.

Terraform & IaC

The Terraform modules lab took me longer than expected but I finally understand how state works. Pro tip: use 'terraform state list' to debug before plan.

Docker & Containers

Docker networking was clicking until overlay networks — can someone explain when to use overlay vs macvlan? The lecture touches on it but I need more depth.

CI/CD Pipelines

The GitHub Actions lab is excellent. I set up a full pipeline for my personal project in under 2 hours using what I learned. This course is 10/10.
